VOLSET is an acronym for The Voluntary Services Trust Team. It was founded in 1997 in a volunteer General Meeting held in the Science Lab at Nakaseke Secondary School, Luwero District. VOLSET is registered in the Republic of Uganda as a Charitable NGO under the Uganda NGOs Board in the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Membership is open to AIDS Prevention Clubs and the community regardless of political, religious or other affiliations. VOLSET is a non-profit organization.

VOLSET's vision is our mission.
VOLSET's aims:
- Help orphans and needy children by giving them the opportunity to a decent education
- Educate the rural community about HIV/AIDS prevention and provide home care
- Establish resource centres which are open to anybody to access information on HIV, AIDS and children's rights
- To strengthen mobile voluntary counselling and testing (VCT) among the isolated and less served communities
- To establish a sound vocational training centre in Mukono District
