2010-January.
- The global financal crisis hits Uganda, so sponsorships have gone up. Aussie Friends supporters sponsor Sharon (S5), Esther (S1), and Seth (P4). Profits from selling vanilla are used to help sponsor Joyce (P3).
- Deborah (a VOLSET girl we meet in 2005) has finished high school and is now studying hospitality. Julie (a VOLSET girl I meet in 2006) is in her final year at univeristy (doing IT). Lydia (VOLSET administrator) is studying Business at university (sponsored by some Americans)

2009-July.
- Kathy took the money raised at the Fundraiser to purchase a solar battery for use at the dormatory and training centre at Nsumba. A few dollars were also spent on fruit trees and food for the chickens.
- A second hand laptop was given to VOLSET. Festus also has purchased a mobile broadband dongle, so now there is Internet access in Nsumba.
- A new digital camera was donated to VOLSET
2009-January.

2008-July.
- Kathy took the money raised at the Fundraiser to purchase the building materials for a chook pen (Aussie Chook House) at Nsumba. The donation also include money to pay for vaccinations for the chickens and some food. A few dollars were also spent on fruit trees.
